Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using ResumeForge, including account responsibilities, acceptable use, service limitations, and how generated content should be reviewed before being used in job applications.
This page combines ResumeForge's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in one place so users can review both the platform rules and data-handling practices without switching between separate pages.
These terms explain the rules for using ResumeForge, including account responsibilities, acceptable use, service limitations, and how generated content should be reviewed before being used in job applications.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ResumeForge, including our website, dashboard, resume-tailoring tools, and related services. By creating an account, accessing the service, or using any ResumeForge feature, you agree to these terms.
If you are using ResumeForge on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including activity performed using saved browser sessions or tokens.
You may not use ResumeForge if your access would violate applicable law, contractual obligations, or the rights of another person or organization.
ResumeForge is intended to help users improve and customize resumes, job application materials, and related professional documents. You may use the service only for lawful, authorized purposes.
You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, cover letters, prompts, and other materials you submit to ResumeForge. You grant ResumeForge a limited license to host, process, store, and transform that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload any content you provide, including employment history, proprietary work details, and third-party job postings.
ResumeForge may generate rewritten bullets, tailored resumes, summaries, or other AI-assisted output based on the materials you provide. You are responsible for reviewing all output before using it in an application or sharing it with a third party.
We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, non-infringing, or accepted by any employer, applicant tracking system, or recruiter.
If ResumeForge offers paid plans, credits, or subscription features, you agree to pay all applicable fees presented at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change pricing, packaging, or feature limits in the future. Any pricing changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter charges already incurred.
ResumeForge and its associated branding, software, interface design, workflows, and site content are owned by ResumeForge or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These terms do not grant you ownership of the service itself, only a limited, revocable right to use it in accordance with these terms.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, including features, models, limits, and integrations. We may also modify these terms from time to time by posting an updated version on the site.
Your continued use of ResumeForge after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
ResumeForge is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific hiring outcomes from use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeForge and its operators, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.
If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to ResumeForge will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using ResumeForge at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk for the platform, or used the service in a way that could harm us or others.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including provisions about ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute-related matters.
Questions about these terms can be directed through the contact information made available in the product or on the ResumeForge site. If you are using ResumeForge through an employer or organization, you should also follow any internal approval or compliance requirements that apply to your use.
This policy explains what information ResumeForge collects, how that information is used to operate the product, when it may be shared with service providers, and what choices users may have over their data.
ResumeForge collects information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, password, billing details when applicable, resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, prompts, and support messages.
We may also collect technical and usage information automatically, including device details, browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, session activity, log data, and interactions with product features.
We use collected information to operate ResumeForge, authenticate users, process transactions, generate tailored resume output, maintain account security, provide support, and improve product performance.
We may also use information to analyze usage trends, detect misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate product updates, policy changes, and service-related notices.
When you upload a resume or provide a job posting, ResumeForge processes that content to generate tailored suggestions, rewritten bullets, summaries, or other application materials. This processing may involve automated systems and third-party infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.
You should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your use case. You are responsible for deciding what employment, compensation, government-identification, or confidential business information to include in uploaded materials.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers that help us host the platform, process payments, analyze performance, deliver communications, secure the service, or support AI-related processing.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, whether your account remains active, and whether the information is needed for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account or device has been compromised.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information. You may also have rights related to data portability or to object to specific types of processing.
You can usually manage account information directly through the product. For requests that cannot be handled in-app, contact ResumeForge through the support channel provided on the site.
ResumeForge may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to remember sessions, maintain preferences, measure traffic, and understand feature usage.
If we use analytics or advertising-related tools in the future, we may update this policy to explain those tools and any opt-out choices that apply.
ResumeForge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than the one in which you live. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect information in a manner consistent with applicable law and this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date shown on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Questions or requests related to this Privacy Policy can be submitted through the contact information made available on the ResumeForge site.
